Equipment pool
When EUROPEAN PIPELINE SERVICES GmbH was founded, the existing equipment pool of Einhaus Anlagenservice GmbH was taken over. Since then, it has been extensively overhauled and sensibly supplemented with new equipment.
EUROPEAN PIPELINE SERVICES GmbH has self-propelled units of various sizes and capacities available for performing water pressure tests and pigging. These ‘compact units’ consist of a filling pump, high-pressure pump and high-pressure compressor. For larger projects, separate filling pumps, high-pressure pumps and drying systems that meet the requirements are also used. Mobile ‘compact units’ are also available in this area for flexible air pressure testing, which can be supplemented with additional units as required.
Since October 2024, a new pressure testing truck has also been in use for EPS. High-pressure and filling pumps, a compressor, an air drying system, a crane and a water tank were also installed as a compact unit on a MAN TGS 33.520 6x6 BB as the carrier vehicle. All these components are intelligently controlled by the truck engine, which automatically adjusts the speed to the respective requirements. The truck is used in particular for pressure testing and drying work and can handle systems with a volume of up to 2500 m³, regardless of diameter.
The entire unit was designed completely in-house by EUROPEAN PIPELINE SERVICES GmbH and built with the help of other companies in the FRIEDRICH VORWERK Group.
With this new vehicle, EUROPEAN PIPELINE SERVICES GmbH will be able to respond even more efficiently and flexibly to our clients' requirements. The unit is designed to efficiently serve the projects involved in the upcoming conversion of the gas network to hydrogen.
EUROPEAN PIPELINE SERVICES GmbH has fully equipped measuring containers for recording and documenting pressure tests. The modern measuring technology, which is monitored by the German Calibration Service (DKD), includes piston manometers, precision manometers, pressure chart recorders, flow meters and electronic thermometers.
With its extensive range of pigs and pig gates, EUROPEAN PIPELINE SERVICES GmbH guarantees flexible and customised testing at all times. Its in-house production facilities are capable of designing and manufacturing special solutions at short notice.
